Fernanda Ortega is an International Coach and Mentor with over 20 years of experience as a Global HR Executive in several industries.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology, a master’s in Business Administration, and she is part of the cohort 27 of the Columbia University Coaching Certification Program.
She was born and raised in Brazil and has worked and lived in the US and Spain, where she is also a national. Fernanda has a solid experience as a leader of remote teams in Latin America, USA, Europe, Middle East, and Asia. She defines herself as a “dot-connector and a talent enthusiast.»
Fernanda started her Human Resources career in banking in Brazil, working for Banco Itaú and Banco Santander. After her experience in retail with Fnac, she migrated to start-ups, scale-ups, and tech companies, where she served as CHRO and Global HR for companies like Peixe Urbano, IDEMIA, and eBay/StubHub, in Brazil, USA, France, and Spain.
In her diverse career, she has always driven business transformation, complex mergers & acquisitions, and supported entrepreneurs and talent gems to thrive in their businesses.
Currently, she is the owner and founder of Talent and Action Coaching & Mentoring. Her clients are people who want to make career shifts, entrepreneurs who want to grow their businesses, and leaders who faces cross-cultural challenges.
